I’ll be diving real deep into Ori this weekend. It took me a little while to get into it because of the combat. I wish heal wasn’t on the weapon wheel and was just a separate button. I just want one more ability during combat without having to constantly switch them out. However, all the different traversal

I’m so close to the end of Pokémon Sword. I just beat all 8 gyms and now I just need to prepare for my trip to Wyndon. I’ve kind of been putting it off though, because I’ve been enjoying exploring the wild area more than anything. I’ve also been grinding my way in Kingdom Hearts 3 to get strong enough to face the

I think mine might be the same, but for Halo 3.  Every game should end trying to escape an exploding space station/planet by motor vehicle.

None!  There are too many exciting new games coming out in 2020.  “New year, new games!” as the kids say.

Owlboy. A game I had started before and didn’t click, but for whatever reason is just what I want right now. I think it’s just the kind of simple I want after playing some in depth or hard to master games. Also, some Super Punch-Out! to finish off my year of 1994 games. I also tried to get into System Shock on the la

Ignore my backlog and play games I want. I missed out on most of the big games from the past few years trying to pick through my backlog. I want to be part of the conversation when Cyberpunk, Animal Crossing, and Last of Us Part II come out instead of playing them months/years later. Also, this might seem

Coincidentally, I’ve made it my goal this year to play games specifically from 1994 (the year I was born and celebrating 25th anniversaries). Donkey Kong Country and Sonic & Knuckles started my love for platformers back in the day. I finally got around to playing Final Fantasy VI and Super Metroid for the first time

Playing the game of hawkishly watching the Nintendo site to see if they restock SNES controllers for the Switch.  No luck so far.  I just don’t understand how they ran into this problem when purchases are limited to people with Nintendo online accounts.  Anyway, hasn’t stopped me from enjoying games on the service.

I would agree, but in the same article, Jason basically tells everyone how to solve the final dungeon.  And gives some idea to the form of the final boss.  If anyone really wanted to be spoiler-free, they should have skipped this article and went in fresh.

It might still be the middle of September, but I’m ready for some Halloween games. I’m thinking some Dead Space 2 since I really enjoyed the first one years ago and 2 has been sitting in my backlog. I heard it’s more actiony so it could go either way for me.

Living it up with some Super Nintendo games on the Switch. It’s officially my 1,000,000th time through Super Mario World and still loving it.

We could use some more female fighters, but my guess is still Terry based on a bigger recognizability factor.

This is the perfect thing to come right after I have to take my last pharmacy board exam.  Here’s hoping for some good news on both fronts!

The upcoming release for the Genesis Mini made me nostalgic for Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Unfortunately, it’s not on the Mini so I just picked it up on Steam. Still probably the best 2D Sonic (behind Mania, of course).

It might be a way for them to make a quick buck, but is it really all that bad. They’re attempting to bring games back to the storefront which is pretty consumer friendly. I guess the one “iffy” thing is that they’re not hiring on the old staff, but obviously something wasn’t working with them before. Plus, who

I don’t know how they are going to replace the touch screen.  However, they are implementing the second screen with different layouts that you can choose.

Would this be a good “introduce my girlfriend to co-op” game, or can anyone recommend a good introduction? She likes Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley but gets scared off by anything more complex.  Any thoughts?

It’s like everything fans have asked for... but in a mobile game

I just played through Final Fantasy VI SNES version while simultaneously reading through a translation comparison in a series called Legends of Localization. It compared the SNES translation to the GBA translation and showed what the actual Japanese interpretation was supposed to be. Funnily enough, the author threw

Probably not much, unfortunately. Working both days in between studying for my pharmacy law exam. But I’ll probably play a few rounds of wario woods on the switch. I’m just about to get to level 70, and I’ve gotten to a point where it feels like it’s luck if I win.  But it’s a pretty addictive match 3 game on the
