Maybe because I’ve played too many of them, but I thought Oxygen Not Included was too derivative. It borrows too heavily from other games I’ve already played.

I have...no idea what you’re trying to say.

Umm let’s see. It’s about two people getting asked questions by the press about something totally unrelated. That one is a president, and one isn’t, isn’t at all germane to the discussion.

Ahh yes. Gawkers favorite race baiter doing their thing. Lemme ask you something there Rooooo: If the Trump administration were to have a press conference about something like Health Insurance or jobs or whatever, and the press posed a question about something Trump tweeted that had zero to do with any of that,

That seems like a naive question to ask. You have a problem when reporters ask Donald Trump a question that isn’t relevant to whatever he was talking about? That’s what reporters do. It’s one reason why the public have such a low opinion of them. They’re looking for controversy. It’s what they do.

There’s instances where common sense doesn’t really prevail with regards to traffic. For instance: Somebody cuts you off and then brakes and you rear end them. You’re always at fault if you rear end somebody. It’s like automatic. And it totally lacks any common sense.

Look... I hear what you’re saying, but you’re just fucking wrong. You could just as easily make the point that the more we allow this sort of shit, the more it gets normalized and then you’re basically saying if you’re not removing it, then you’re okay with what it represents. This isn’t a national geographic

That’s the laziest of connections.

Anything you can do, I can do better!
I can do anything better than you!

Oh, no you can’t!
Oh, yes, I can!
Oh, no you can’t!
Oh, yes, I can!
Oh, no you can’t!
Oh, yes, I can!
Oh, no you can’t! / Oh, yes, I can!

Sounds like she needs to eat more. /s

Well I guess inversely, nobody should give a shit about how much she weights or lifts?

Can somebody please get a high fidelity uncompressed version of that and make sure it’s placed safely in a vault for future generations? I’m concerned in a few years it’s going to be a janky compressed nightmare, and we’ll all have lost.

There’s also the fact that I don’t think anybody really knew how well WW would do. It was still a bit of a risky picture to make. WW might have just made the idea of female action star movies seem decidedly less risky in the minds of hollywood producers. Which might pay dividends doing forward.

Yes but you said the two guys were better known. And let’s face it: nobody was sure WW was gonna be a success. I don’t see a pay gap here. Especially when there’s so many unknowns.

Question I have though is: did they sign a three picture contract? I’m assuming they did. So it makes me wonder how much they’re gonna make going forward and if it’ll be fair. How much leverage can you have if you’ve already signed a contract for the next 2 pictures? There’s zero doubt in my mind the studio

I would totally vote to give teachers more fucking pay. They damn well deserve more than they get.

That’s true. But by that same logic you can’t expect a female star to get the same as a male counterpart if they have ‘equal’ screen time, if the male is the much bigger star. Yet I’ve seen that exact argument made....on this very website. Hollywood salaries will never be totally fair, because there is no foolproof

Think about what would happen if *right now* Scarlett Johasson, Gal Gadot, Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, Daisy Ridley, etc gathered together and said “Hey. Pay us the same as our costars or we’re out.”

I had the same thought. How many people in Pratt’s place wouldn’t have done the exact same thing? Geez how long did he antagonize over the decision before finally doing it? He was a flawed character in an impossible situation. He made a bad choice. Let’s not turn it into something it isn’t.

And I found that argument a load of (mostly) bullshit. He was a fucking flawed character. What he did was wrong. No need to turn it into something it wasn’t. I’d like to know how many people in that position wouldn’t have done the exact same fucking thing.
