They over roast the beans because they basically buy the cheapest lowest grade beans possible and have to over roast to hide the flavor. It is also why so many of their drinks are heavy on the cream and/or sugar.

Starbucks is awful. They burn their beans for their “signature taste” but it just tastes bad to me. McDonald’s is watery even though I have coworkers who love it. Weirdos. Dunkin is my choice of the three (haven’t tried 7-Eleven). Medium Dunkin coffee, 1 cream, 1 sugar (easy/easy) tastes just right hot or iced.
