I hope Steve Kerr sends Ben Affleck in his place, wearing high-water suit pants and demanding a retainer.

I hope the Warriors send Andrew Bogut.

The Warriors needed Durant to leave no doubt of victory. Its stupid to act like they couldn’t beat these Cavs without him. They won in 2015 and probably winin 2016 if Draymond kicks anyone other than Lebron.
Durant is so good, he’s blown up competitive balance, and there’s really nothing the Cavaliers can do about it.
One player reaches finals 7 straight times and it’s the other team that’s the balance problem?
Its because it has been internet cool to hate the warriors and slobber lebron. When it real life this is just one year and a lot can change. If you can’t enjoy the greatest player going against the greatest team of all time I don’t know what to say.
I remember being THRILLED when the Warriors got John Starks, because that seemed like the smallest amount of improvement (maybe). I also remember trying to defend this team over the last two seasons when people like you wrote or said garbage like this because you forgot that this fan base had been given absolute shit…
Your insecurities happened
hooray for promotion truthing
Not to mention all the advancements in strength and conditioning training, nutrition, integration of technology into scouting, etc ...
So we’re just done with phrasing, right? That’s not a thing anymore?
Magic was swept in the Finals twice - once with a not-yet-dead Kareem in ‘83! They had trouble with fucking Jerry Sichting but they’re going to shut down KD, Steph, and Klay? I’m sure Chuck Nevitt and the bench guys could totally handle Shaun Livingston.
The business in front, party in the back, that is.
That was a very young team (avg experience was about 3 years) that included not only the Bad Boys building blocks but also Ricky Pierce, who went to tear it up for years for the Bucks n’ Sonics.
The ‘04 Pistons commenting must have been the straw that broke Kerr’s back.
Over time, Theseus repaired his ship until every piece of it was replaced. Was it still the same ship?
Agreed. For starters, are we talking about if the two teams/players in question squared up against one another? Or are we talking about domination during their era? It’s not fair to someone in the 70s that the game has evolved. In many ways, the greats from eras past are partly responsible for the amazing…
This is the first time I’ve seen the Dream Team vs. Warriors hypothetical, and I love it. It is a HELL of a lot more interesting than the tired Warriors vs. 96 Bulls, which is ultimately a “different era/different styles/different team construction” situation where it’s sort of impossible to come up with anything…
Can’t edit other post for some reason but messed around on NBA Savant and it shows that Steph was more efficient on layups and dunks though Kyrie made and attempted more, without accounting for traffic or lack thereof in the case of fastbreak. Very superficial look at it but wish there was a way to get tracking data…
