I agree with Twitch drops as bad marketing.  I’m on Twitch pretty regularly, but I fail to see how drops “drive awareness”. If you’re watching a Twitch stream for drops don’t you already have the game?

It opened this weekend in my local one screen one show a day theater.  That’s saying something, as they almost never get new movies on week of release.

It does seem on big streams that people just donate/sub to get shout outs.  On smaller streams IME people donate/sub because they want to give back to the streamer that’s provided entertainment for them.  At least that’s what I do, and what my subs tell me they do it for.

Well I’m streaming to 10-15 people and get more than .10 for my ads, so I imagine the people streaming to 10k+ get quite a bit more.

So back to when it was shitty and boring? No thanks.

Oh THANK GOD. I was so worried that it had been like 15 minutes since there was a Kotaku article about Amouranth. Finally! I was getting depressed not reading anything about her for so long.  Whew.

If you play any other souls games, you may feel a bit weaker, but the boss fights will be way easier because they have gigantic chasm-sized openings between attacks compared to Elden Ring.

20-30 attempts is really nothing on Melania.  But just like other bosses she’s a solvable puzzle.  Once you know how to avoid her attacks and when to hit her it’s simple.  Takes a lot of tries to learn that stuff though.

WTF use would they have being right 50% of the time?  A magic 8 ball is right 50% of the time, should we use those in security screenings?

I wish half the people in this world had been told “pay the fuck attention” as kids and then maybe they’d know how to do that as adults.  I constantly run into people who are off in some dream world instead of noticing what’s going on around them.
