You’re assuming there’s some human with a working brain deciding these things on this site.

Probably no one you’ve ever heard of either.

I mean it doesn’t really make me wonder much. I don’t know any of the people who watch these streamers for the same reason I don’t watch them, it’s a different crowd with different interests.

I spend so much time on Twitch, and yet every time I see an article on here about a Twitch (or former Twitch) streamer, I’m like who?

I usually get $2-3 each for them after shipping and fees on ebay.

As someone who makes a living selling used games on Ebay, he’s doing me a nice favor.  These BK games are pretty common and not super good sellers (although not the worst either).

There are literally zero people who are reading articles here who don’t already know all this stuff.  Black Friday isn’t for those people.

Personally, I stopped playing WoW and Overwatch years ago in response.

Plot twist: Part of fixing the culture is him quitting.

I like Pete Davidson, but calling him rich compared to Kim Kardashian is like calling me rich compared to Kim Kardashian.

Pete seems very nice but doesn’t exactly give off the energy of someone you bring around the kids in a serious manner”

First off, you don’t pay to watch Twitch, it’s free. You CAN choose to subscribe or donate to streamers you find entertaining, just like you can choose to pay for any other form of entertainment.

So just out of curiosity, if someone has only played Starfox 64 and thought it was pretty shitty even for 1996, is the SNES game worth trying?

Absolutely.  They’re selling sexy, but that doesn’t make them not human beings.

I’m not sure what confuses you about that concept though?  It’s not sexist to catcall a stripper at a strip club, it is sexist to catcall random women on the street because you can’t control yourself.  Seems pretty straightforward.

I’m 40, watch a fair amount of Twitch, and honestly don’t care if some people are gaming, some are reacting to Youtube videos, some are licking mics, etc.  Everyone has their thing.  I watch for gaming, but I also watch poker streams, tabletop RPG streams, etc.  Keep yelling at those clouds though.

Just the latest in Kotaku’s 432 part series: The Amouranth Chronicles.

Is My Octopus Teacher the program that made my wife sob uncontrollably for hours afterward?  I know it was about an octopus.

Sincerely doubt it, they can cram way more ads in with slide shows and enough people will go through them.  Amazing to think they could actually cram more ads in here, the basic site barely functions on my phone because of them.
