Of note on the FOIA front: Government UAs are generally larger than this (the big AF/CIA ones weigh 1000s of lbs and many of those proposed for use by law enforcement are larger than 55lbs). These rules do not apply to those craft anyway so the FOIA protections are probably not part of some vast government conspiracy.…
