Bottom line, both Ukraine and the US have gotten into a position somewhat dependent on the whims of a genius madman. And I’m not talking about the former president, who’s the latter but definitely not the former. Not to say that Starlink hasn’t been invaluable, but like SpaceX and Tesla, Musk is genius at bringing

To say I loved the whole series would be an understatement. Sure, not perfect, but what is? So unique, well written, and well acted. Can’t wait for Season 2!

get in line.

Exactly. Gee, wonder who might have leaked an end credits scene for a movie people were otherwise ‘meh’ about?

A tall order, but fingers crossed that the next Jag GT might be as beautiful as the F-type. Also, how do you make an EV sound this good?

Money. Makes people, and institutions, do crazy, immoral, things.

You forgot about the neighbors on the floor below Syril’s mom, the Jeffersons. They’re movin’ on up.

“There’s always time for a selfie. Cassian, come on over!”

If you don’t have kids, you don’t appreciate that this is the most realest scene in the SW universe. Ever.

Great writing, great cinematography, straight foward plot about to become un-straightforward. A subtlety that makes it all work is that all the plots and subplots are believable, not because they’re in the SW universe, but because they’re things we experience in OUR universe. Bureaucracy, petty managerial jealousies,

Immersive. The mark of really great cinematography (and sets, of course). They feel real, like you could actually be there. Now actually, in this episode, it crossed my mind that you could also be on set at Battu in Disney World, but I guess that’s the intent, isn’t it!?

The OG host of Top Gear. The very top. RIP QE2.

2023 HRV

Leave it to Honda to make a more than passable version of the Macan and not tell anyone about it.

I loved it. Sit back and appreciate the chances that Marvel/Disney took to veer away from standard superhero plots. Look, I loved Hawkeye, but this is another level, kinda Ragnarok for TV, and skewed significantly younger than yours truly (which I don’t mind, have to hit the Google for “dip”). This is great.

I worry greatly that this could end up as the virtual “jump the shark,” or maybe even the digital “Ishtar.”

Semantics without a difference. SUV? CUV? Okay, not a CUV. Wagon? Nah, wrong connotations. I’d have voted for shooting brake, because I think the reality is much more wagon than it is high speed luxury performance hauler.

Weird, but the fully electric Jeep was the first vehicle in the slideshow, but did it get counted in the list (I didn’t see accompanying text). But I’m really curious how they pull it off, and what the price will be. I think it looks sharp.

Asian tea (I love oolong, but like jasmine too). I think they go through stock quicker so it’s fresher, even though it’s a dried product.

I’m just here to stir the pot, but I feel that way, not only about the Queen (RIP), but also the Catholic Church. Chock full of problems, no question, but to deny that they’re the singular largest source of charity care (by dollar amount) in the US outside of the federal government is the ultimate throw the baby out
