IMO it should’ve been hybrid only. Don’t even put a HYBRID badge on it at this point. Just put a 45 mpg sticker on it and be done.

I actually thought the Patriot’s exterior styling was actually kind of good-looking in a 90's Jeep Cherokee sort of way. That being said, the interior was garbage and so was the drivetrain.

It’s definitely targeted at the Supra, but C&D has confirmed the specs on the sub $40k base model and it’s not bad. My point is that everyone has a ceiling, so if yours maxes out at the GR86 then obviously you can’t look beyond that. But you’re forgetting all the cross shopping that gets done in the other direction.
