Each person with dementia is different. They all have daily paths and patterns that they go down, and the caretaker has to pick the best approach to handle it - the lesser evil. It sounds like the person in the story has a common path of ‘hey, I want to go for a drive’ and that the caretakers have had a difficult,

Dementia is cruel. Alzheimers is cruel. Something that is a distraction may be better than the fight, especially since it’s cruel not only to the one that has it, but their loved ones, caretakers, and even the random public.

Yep - or what my wife’s grandfather would’ve done is hitched a ride to the dealer and bought a new car on the spot, meanwhile getting absolutely HOSED on the price.

Even worse, because at least with a 2 year old you can just pick them up and carry them away from whatever danger they’ve got themselves into. Also, a 2 year old has no legal capacity to make decisions, so there’s no potential fight over guardianship or power of attorney.

how do you feel about the CJ7?

Dammit, cannot unsee.

The flat-top front wheel well and perfectly round rear well are making me irrationally angry.

Most of BART is above ground. FYI. :)

I’m afraid the BART discussion and your NASA documentation are taking about different things. Many of those gases aren’t going to behave like the dominant gases in the atmosphere.

Yes, and riding a mtn bike is easy and fun too on it

I’m not one either and never understood this “sport”... I’d rather just go for a hike lol. At least they’re all having a good time

Not really a rock crawling person...it's hard to tell from the pics: could a person with hiking boots just walk up these things without issue?

I was excited for 1/10th of a second before I realized: It probably won’t come here and if it does it almost certainly won’t get a manual gearbox.

Those rounded eggy headlights just don’t do it for me. The Jetta does them better. The rest of the MKIV Golf is fine, though.

Bitch is so far in the closet he’s talking to Aslan.

A fully electric Renegade might make it into my fleet, but I’m not sure something even smaller than that has much purpose for me. Still any new EV is exciting!

If we ever get this in the US, I’ll eat my own testicles.

You can watch the shit show play out via the internet too.
