That’s what the JK8 conversions do. They use the Unlimited chassis and then remove the rear portion and graft on a bed. Wheelbase and rear overhang remain the same. IMHO it’s so much better looking than a Gladiator it almost hurts.

Except the HRV is less spacious, worse to drive, slower, worse on gas and considerably more expensive. But yeah sure.

A hybrid sounds kind of perfect for the Bronco. Still plenty of offroad prowess, but would definitely help to negate the likely awful fuel economy it will get.
