None of the people living in the building would need to park because they do not own a car. Self driving cars can be summoned as needed, be in constant use and be serviced out of the city for the people who need them. 10+ bikes can fit in the space of a single car. There are many other ways to live and get around…
Imagine that the parking building housed people instead of wasting all that space on housing cars. And everyone that lived in the building got around by public trans or walking or biking or uber

Bugs me whenever I see a bicyclist doing the left arm up in a 90 degree angle to indicate a right turn. Looks like they’re flipping someone off. Guess they don’t know that signal is for left…
But riding as far to the side of the road as you can go is extremely dangerous for you. Please take the lane for your safety, who cares about the drivers, they’ll get used to you and you’ll get used to being away from the curb eventually. Not even a mile commute should be less than a 10 minute ride.
