Iowa brethren: Here in LA we have two speeds. Crawling, and 75mph. Traffic is either a dead stop, or the majority of people are blasting along at a rate significantly higher than the speed limit. Probably out of frustration for having to crawl for so long.

Results being as they are, we in the USA have a penal system that varies based on the mentality of the individual at the time of the crime. ex: 1/2/3rd deg murder.

Fellow Jalop, I agree with you. However, we cant just charge everyone who commits a crime with a single charge. There needs to be punishment fitting of the crime, and I wouldn’t think a gross negligence would bring as severe of a punishment as intentional abuse of a human.
