Agreed, much prefer the shift knob in our Ram over a full lever, be it column or console.
Sure they haven’t...
As a current Jeep owner, that looks like my exit.
Jeeps and Toyotas working together? – mass hysteria.
Same idea as the Yamaha TW200, another old school bike that has been trudging along for a long time.
Coincidentally it looks more like the old TVR you all recently posted about, just without the panache and flair of that classic.
Used Jaguar F-Type V6S. See mine for reference... perfect warm state affordable exotic.
Don’t get me started on the ‘76 Chevy Monza I had with the all aluminum block motors, sans bore liners, pre-modern technology to spray the bore or in any way harden it against piston ring wear. Or anything mid-70's with a GM corporate 305 motor, especially adorned with a quadrajet. I am still getting night sweats from…
Been there, done that with the make a plan and buy the good parts for that end result first.
Agreed, for anything other than glass smooth perfect asphalt, more sidewall is simply faster, and rides a lot better. Main reason I stepped down to 16X9" Enkeis on my ‘14 FoST. Lighter rims, more sidewall to soak up bumps, and just a better handling car overall.
I put Holden HSV badges on my ‘04 GTO way back in the day. I figured the heads, cam, and STS turbo kit made it live up to the reputation.
Bastard offspring of a Toyota 86 and a Bugatti?
I love the concept of the small fun bike, but if you are outside of a city they become very limiting. I had a ‘17 Z125 and it was fun, but I found myself adding an intake, exhaust, tuner, and finally a big bore kit. Still not fun to ride with other people. Finally fixed it... traded for a Ducati Scrambler Icon.
My best friend Tim drives any vehicle he is in like it is a Tron light cycle. There are no curves, there are only right angles. At interstate speeds this is a bit... stressful.
Or often the attractive caucasian hetero couples. Mixed race couples, such as my wife and I, often as not get headed off towards either the kitchen or the restroom entrance tables, even if the restaurant is mostly empty. Happens so often I am no longer polite about it, I just say No. Loudly. And if they have an…
It was also part of the process used by Ford to fix the overrated horsepower on the ‘99 Cobra, along with a revised cat-back. Class action lawsuit due to very low power numbers made them turn to this process to make up some of the difference. So it works.
In my first Jeep here, after a long history of handling cars, several regional SCCA championships, lots of HPDE events, etc. Hell, I traded a Jaguar F-Type V6S for my current Wrangler Willys. While I understand the bias against them from street car people, they are pretty much perfect for the environment they are…
Fiesta ST. Likely could get one leftover on the lot for less than $20k, and you will not find a better fun/lb ratio anywhere.
Agreed, they are running a bit flat.
