Ehh, it's a nice filter, because it appears that that's all it is, but it pales in comparison to Google's refund policy. I've refunded about $20 worth of apps thus far on my Evo because the application description and reviews were misleading.

Oh boy, I can see all sorts of delightful exploitations with this update.

Not surprising at all. The way Apple's done these past few years, I feel bad for any other companies that are still focused on the MP3 player market, especially after this one is announced.

This reminds me of the days I spent with my relatives playing Lego Racing for the PS1 ten years ago. Those were good times, except when they forced me to lose to make themselves feel better.

@Addzter: I know, I was saying that it didn't make much sense for Apple to release a 'mini' or 'nano' sized version of the iPad if there really isn't any difference besides screen size. With the Shuffle, you get a ridiculously thin media player. With a smaller iPad, you get...an iPad with a slightly smaller screen…

@bdkennedy1002: You might be right. When I think new iPhone, I think of the next generation of the iPhone. It would certainly be new for Apple to release the same exact device with a redesigned antenna while keeping the same name.

I just hope you don't take your skinned iPhone into the forest for a camping trip of scavenger hunt. If you were to drop it, the poor thing would be long amongst the trees forever.
