@Nitesh Singh: OMG dude are u 4 real? liek, if some1 were to intrvene, they mght loose theyre spot in line!!

It's just depressing how so many people are trying to be apologists for Apple. First there was the drop test from yesterday; considering it was four drops, maybe some people had a point.

@AndrosZ: It's a freaking one foot drop. Twelve inches. Good smartphones do NOT shatter after a one foot drop. No exceptions. This is all about Apple's design and nothing about clumsiness.

@Skir Mernet With Some Vuvuzela Joke In His Nick: Well, in the case of specialized underwater equipment, you have a point. I just get the feeling that some people think this will have use to their consumer devices.

@iphone_myphone: Five things nullify any credibility you might have.

@VIn: I don't know, I'd like to think they meant more than that. Practically all glass on screens nowadays can't be scratched by keys or anything short of strengthened steel or sand.

@Jose_J_Herrera: You're probably very very careful with your device. As a result, the added strength is just a nice thing to have, rather than a necessity. For some, though, accidents do happen.

@nbsmatambo: Say you trip on something and the phone falls out of your hand. It's going to be moving pretty quickly in such a case. That is, unless you grip the device like a firstborn child.

@VIn: The thing stopped working after two drops and shattered after four. Those drops were ridiculously weak compared to real-life accidents. Nobody holds their phone like that, so a real life scenario would probably consist of it getting hurled from their hand at over five feet high with some serious speed.

Ok, no amount of Apple loyalty can possibly excuse that. Like others have said, Apple stressed the durability of this new phone like never before. 'IT'S FORTIFIED WITH THE BLOOD OF IRON MAN', they said.

@Skir Mernet With Some Vuvuzela Joke In His Nick: Notice that I included the touchscreen portion. I can understand taking some electronic equipment, but not stuff that needs touch input.

The only problem with this is I will never see a situation where I'll have any electronic device underwater. Especially one with a touchscreen.

Only with the iPhone will you have an app that tracks the status of a line to BUY said iPhone.

Just wondering...what is that facebook picture of yours even of? It looks like somebody hugging a dog or parakeet of some sort, but I can't be sure.

@Lite: an adventurer is me!: Notice that I said they bully people around in order to make a profit. By profit I really meant a quick buck. Viacom's revenue stream isn't affected so largely by youtube that they have to say 'HOLY FUCK YOUTUBE'S RUINING US SUE SUE SUE'. They're just dicks.

Viacom represents everything that is evil and wicked about giant corporations today. Bullying around people to play by their rules simply to make a profit.

@Geisrud: "With the new iPhone, Apple's added this neat little yellow tint . What makes it so revolutionary is that the color yellow is associated with warmth and happiness; in other words, you'll be happier when using this iPhone than any other device without even knowing it! That's the power of AT&T."

@kozi: Man, if it ever looked that bad, I would never understand why people bought the iPhone in the first place.

@tande04: Yeah, it looks like somebody from another dimension or the past is tearing through the fabric of time to enter the human world or something.
