This is why Wind Waker, Jet Set Radio, Okami, Borderlands, and Madword are all so timeless. They chose an unrealistic art style that nobody else chooses to imitate that is filled with bizarre dimensions and proportions, making for an interesting looking world that you can't really compare anything else to.
