Also it would be weird that Vigilante got introduced first and then OH MY COINCIDENCE Dinah gets inducted on team Arrow. What are the chances!?

I think that's my issue with Arrow at the end of the day; I want it to be more than it is, because I believed it could have been so (caresses seasons 1 and 2 fondly)

Would that be a good pay off?

Buffy is an old timer that can still teach a thing or 20 tho the youngsters.

I actually think that Glory and Dhark had a lot in common, and how they were handled actually reveals a lot of Do's and Don't's

That's why Slade was the better villian. We knew exactly what he was doing and why he was doing it and it was all about the escalation.

Exactly my thing, thank you Evil Lincoln!

Also that the villains are "10 steps ahead" mostly because the plot says and demands so doesn't help. It's the little things that make the whole thing not the best it could be.

As long it is with that big red bulge I'm game.

I think I agree with that to some extent, but IDK. It's not like I want the villain to struggle, or that I don't enjoy a goof mustache twirling magnificent bastard, but it's so very hard not to make that unbelievable outsmarting, well believable.

What irks me is that at this time I feel we NEED a bit more of complexity. I get the need of being supportive, but the show kinda has to build a more sophisticated view of morality if we are to truly understand these characters.

I started Arrow season 4 ready to accept Olicity as part of the status quo. I really disliked how they were written on season 3, but fine whatever, I was in for the ride and actually excited. I never disliked Olicity as a concept, but I really hated the execution.

The thing about tropes is that often they are indirect result of a narrative. If you don't go with the specific idea to address a trope, you as a writer might not be even aware of which tropes you are falling into.

Not even me! and I am a hoodie guy.

I, I really don't agree they did a good season of Olicity. I'd say season 2 was the best Olicity, but it's evident for how little that's worth.

I have a very vivid imagination and can experience thought as vision, it's a gift.

I mean, ratings say people watch it, but fans? who knows.

I'm thinking the costume department is all like "FATTIES GET THE POTATO SACK" and I'm not even being glib.

Honestly, this feels like the kind of show it sets you up for life. If you entered the business to make a living above the fame, this is like the golden goose.

Steven is who we want to be, Lars is who we are afraid we are.
