I am perhaps not as optimistic, but more or less resigned? like I can still enjoy the show, but I haaaave to turn off my brain a little more. Because I just can't see the show returning to its "glory days" after cutting so much corners.

Yeah, that's fair, but I really think your point then is really not coming across cause I'm not assuming bad faith on your part.

Honestly I half agree; like, if they thought a bit ahead, they could have evened out things more smoothly. Nothing against fast pacing, but IDK, the way they are going about, it makes the world feel so smaller.

My point is that they don't "have" to be sexy; sexy and femeninity are not equivalents. If a woman isn't playing up her sexuality, she is not turning herself into a man.

If it is metaphorical, it could mean Jon will sit on the Throne (On the books, it seems that on some visions Jon might be represented by literal snow)

This is not true like at all. The reason why most Targs have silver hair is because both parents tend to have those features already (thanks incest, like the whole point of the practice was to keep the bloodline pure)

Mmm, ew?

"Too Many Rick! Too many" That line killed me.

I think the blame is in the writing tho…

Oh this is not even about timelines! those are just a fucking mess that don't make any sense lol

IDK how to feel about Jon being stuck on Dragonstone for this long; feels to much like plot necessity to build his rapport with Dany. There's something off about him being the King in the North and technically a side in this war and just bumming around.

Yeah I don't get why his legitimate status would matter unless he wants the throne. So I guess they are gonna do something with that? IDK

And she married Lyanna on Dorne lol what a douchebag,

This season GoT IS an enjoyabke fanfic. I love fanfic I'm not being mean, but it has that feeling, with Westeros being the size of Manhattan, everyone running into each other, and long lost secrets juuuuust being revealed, and a romantic pairing that just happens.

For better and worse, GoT has gone full fanfic! All your faves are back and Westeros feels the size of Manhattan.

Shhh, don't think about it. It's that kind of season.

Yet the show is still making the point that Jon is a legitimare child, and with a better claim than Daenerys.

I feel like Cal will be the sort of dad that visits her a couple times a month and takes her on camping trips.

Pouring one for my homie Kathryn; she did an amazing job we rarely got to see, and I'm so happy that Tat always was so open with how much Kathryn gave her to work opposite to-

People are always welcome to CloneClub no matter how late they get in! We were all in this trip together.
