Yost’s run was (IIRC) right around the AvX stuff. He was still a bit of a bad guy, but handled much more fair and balanced, and less “Wolverine, so fuck this guy.” lol

Yost did a pretty solid run with Cyke that’s worth checking out. Have not cared for anything Bendis has done with him (or young Cyke).

heh He’ll be back. Much like Reed, Sue, and Xavier (unless he’s already back.).

Nah, he’s the guy that has to make the hard decisions, no matter how heavily it may weigh on him. He’s the guy that has to train and lead children into battle and act as the backup Xavier for the “cause.” He’s the Hal Jordan of the MU, basically. Which is odd, because I like him a lot more than Hal. lol Whedon really

I really did dig his run with Wolverine. My only gripe is how he handled Cyclops. You could really tell he preferred Wolvie over Summers, and he wanted the audience to get the point a little too much. lol

Oh yeah, he’s a big Wolvie fan, and it definitely comes out in his writing. heh

It’s weird, because the Bible is really a great source for some truly epic and bloody stories that would be right at home on the bookshelf alongside stuff like 300 and Preacher. I mean, you’ve got incest, sacrifice, wars, giants, and god damned dragons. The key is (and Aaron seems to have nailed it here), don’t hold

Never get between an addict and their fix.

Indeed!

I’ve always been a fan of the legacy concept, and it’s kinda nice to see Marvel start doing it a bit. It always felt weird to me that Marvel had so few successful legacies, save the occasional exemption like Miles and Human Torch.

Word. lol

Not bad, but I would have preferred Millar writing it. Bendis did some fun stuff with it, though.

Hence the “sort of.” :p lol Seriously, I’m a big OML fan, so I’m real curious to see how he handles being in the 616 ‘verse now.

heh This kind of reminds me of the old Faxanadu trick to get infinite gold.

He already is back! Sort of... lol

Just another legacy character, like how Wally became flash, Connor became Green Arrow, and Kyle became GL. It’s a comic thing.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, the majority of people seem to have liked Jurassic World. lol

I’m a big fan of how AoC has handled combat, like introducing combos and fatalities and the like. Really makes a fight feel brutal and intense.

Yeah, it’s thankfully not a huge deal for me, and this is only just a 3 minute section in the game, like you said. It just seems to be a pretty common gameplay bit in games now. For me, I’m a big proponent of making sure that the player has as much input on how their character is doing in a game, and it just feels

It just comes off as game design for babies. It’s downright insulting to the player to plop sixty bucks down for a roller coaster ride. I’m a sad panda, now.
