@lilwillie: I can tell you that the banking in Nascar 1 and 2 was super bumpy and 3-4 wasn't much better. the new surface will definitely be nice for the Grand Am guys too.

@accipiter: my dad, brother, and I made one just like this (sans the bitchin paint job) and took it down the hill near our house. the brakes were just a patch of old tire mounted on a lever between the driver's legs. Unbeknown to a 11 year-old me, yanking on that brake lever in panic actually lifted the rear wheels
