The earliest one I can remember was our Chevy Lumina. Ours was black and the kids in the neighborhood called it "the bullet van."

"tuned" vehicles with every stick-on plastic piece of crap available on ebay, namely this guy. He's like bigfoot to car guys all around Daytona. I saw him a few weeks ago rocking some awesome red LED's in that "blower."

My GTI had an oil pump failure during a trackday and I was stuck driving my mother's car for a month- it just so happened to be a solara with an I Love Lucy licence plate frame... I don't think it could get much worse than that.
