Besides the eye-patch and hair dye, I can’t quite articulate why this costume is... awful. It looks like something out of Comic-Con. Perhaps it needs to deviate from the comic and be updated? All I know is that he and his scene look like they were cut from one of the G.I. Joe movies.

But... why would you stop? This is partly why I’m not a collector: I’m too much of a completist to be disciplined.

The figure does look like a slightly aged Trudeau, but it could also be the lighting. Either way, it still looks excellent, and I love the “distinguished” aesthetic anyway. My only criticisms are that the hair appears jet black and not tussled enough, but it’s still A+ work that compliments Trudeau’s handsomeness.

Except that the wave of sexual misconduct allegations made against institutionally powerful men may be setting precedent for how Hill politicians handle these accusations from here on out.

1. The Senate Ethics Committee is a joke. Franken’s willingness to cooperate is pure political theatre. Don’t buy into it.
