I am from Brazil and we are one of the top producers of granite. We call the ghastly green granite (granites, really, as there are several of them) “cemetery granite” here. It is what headstones are made out of. So when I watch HGTV and see someone raving about their stupid Ubatuba/Butterfly/Peacock green granite, I

wait... is that a lot of wine? Asking for a friend.

12 bottles of wine is perfectly normal, THANK you very much.

I want that floral kitchen floor!

House hunting a few months ago, I noticed the kitchen/bathroom trend is going all white. White tile backsplash, light granite, light marble floors. I wonder what people will think about this trend in 30 years?

Oh fuck off.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH PEOPLE

I honestly never know what to make of it. I feel like I know less after I read it than I did beforehand.

Peanuts is sorta like the Beach Boys for me: I get why people like it, I know it’s historically important, but get that shit outta my face.

Absolutely... wrong.

Must be lonely having such bad opinions.

Because it’s only a strip. If Watterson had licensed it like he could have it would have been a motherfucking monster.

It’s pretty easily the best strip ever and one of the great achievements in all of American culture. Check out the ones from the ‘50s and ‘60s some time.

Somehow, though, Calvin and Hobbes is underrated culturally.

This horseshit list is invalid because:
1. Bloom County is the best comic of all time.
2. Herman is not on this list, which means your staff is unfit to live.

“Eat hot death.” — Milo Bloom

Not technically in the papers, but I vote for Garfield Minus Garfield to straight up replace Jim Davis’ aged and now very unfunny version:

not a huge paper comics guy myself, but I do know that Calvin and Hobbes is amazing. The last one they did is one of my favorite things ever.

I like it. Although I’d have Far Side as #1, solely because I feel like Calvin and Hobbes comics were better when they were multiple page stories rather than single strips. Have the book sets of both Far Side and C&H though and they’re both amazing.

Everybody is entitled to wrong opinions.

While I understand the other characters, hopefully you were not referring to Harley, Deadshot, Joker, Waller and Batman as dull?
