When I was six my babysitter had one with the Hi-Po 350.  Used to catch air off the top of one particular hill when we could beg her into doing it.

Never speak of what, again?

I can’t really speak for my whole generation... but I’m not tired of “your” bullshit.

Yet another example of AMC being just a bit too far ahead of the curve.

Dang. I have liked those since I was a kid and they first came out... but that’s a bit steep.  The engine should last forever though.

I replaced the head unit in mine with a Sony CD head unit - I bought it in ‘95 and had completely converted to CD by then.

I had one of those. Same year, different color. Absolutely loved it. At first I was thinking “Geez, $6900 is awfully high for a car that old.” but the condition swings it for me.

I had that game and Pole Position for the Atari when I was a lad in the early ‘80's.  Good memories.

My 2nd car was a Pontiac Sunbird.  31 years later and I’ve never owned another GM product.

I’ve always thought that AMC’s problem was being too far ahead of the times. Look at the profile of the AMC Gremlin, then look at the Honda Civic hatchback that was introduced just a few years later. The proportions are different (and weird) in the Gremlin, but the basic layout was very similar. Yes, AMC’s execution

Jeez... If I was anywhere near Michigan I’d go for it immediately.

IIRC, Tesla offered to license it’s proprietary charging port design to any manufacturer for free, simply so we’d have a more universal standard.  Nobody’s taken them up on it.

That’s why I felt pretty good about negotiating $1k off of the wife’s Fusion last year.

I have a ‘95 Nissan pickup specifically because nobody makes a small truck anymore.  If ANYBODY made a new one that was actually a “work truck” reasonably priced, I’d buy one.

Heck, I missed a flight on SW due to a accident-caused traffic jam, and SW put me on another flight for free.

Dang... what’s not to love?!  NP

I always thought that’s what they should’ve put in it in the first place.

The real problem with the Fusion/Taurus thing is that the interior of the Taurus is no bigger than the Fusion. If they put out an actually roomy full-size Taurus it would eliminate that problem.

I’ve often wondered why there were so few V-4's out there. They just seemed to make sense for packaging.

Nor 14".  My poor little Nissan has to make do with trailer tires.
