I live in Columbia, MO, and Columbia rules.

Amazing that you did that stupid internet thing about ‘reading comprehension’ and then pretend that I said it was ‘controversial.’ I never said it was controversial. I have never doubted the amount of people who think so poorly about the MVP issue.

Mine isn’t revisionist history. It was ridiculous at the time to many, many people. Go look at the splits when those three guys were on or off the court. Both LBJ and Dwight were better that year by any objective measure. The idea that the MVP needs to come from a team with the best record is dumb.

Has nothing to do with talent. Both James and Howard had better seasons. They were better players than Rose that year.

I actually reject this common line that defenses are worse than they were. Defenses have grown in both their game-planning and complexity. Not to mention, I believe that rule changed in 2000.

And that 6ers team would have been better with Westbrook than Iverson. And the West in 2017 is approximately one billion times better than the East was then.

You’re wrong about Russ, but I’ll be goddamned if you’re not right about everything else.

If you think Rose deserved that MVP over Lebron(or even Dwight), you should recuse yourself from the conversation.

This is correct.

You were doing quite well, I thought, but you are out of your goddamn mind if you think peak Iverson is better than peak Westbrook. Insane. Isaiah Thomas is having Allen Iverson’s career season this year, and I loved Iverson.

It’s specifically reserved for stupid opinions told with much confidence despite the opinion-holder having very little knowledge on the topic.

I can’t believe people as dumb as you still exist.

I’m the kind of annoying liberal that sends Ta-Nehisi Coates articles to my stupid family members, but the ‘every opportunity by virtue of their white skin’ stuff is silly, but worse than being silly, it’s really ineffectual politically.

“STICK TO FOOTBALL!!”

Nah, Provel is delicious.

It’s obvious hyperbole. I can’t believe anyone is acting like she was being literal.

These assumptions are so strange.

I mean, this isn’t true at all.

In fairness, Porter has seemed completely overwhelmed and overmatched in the NBA until this season.

They’d fuck it up so, so bad. So, no, you’re not crazy to realize that they’re not above it, but there is no chance they could pull it off.
