If it has no impact on end user performance, then it doesnt matter. Every OS has backgrounded processes and apps that end users dont control. This totalitarian Kim Jong Il style of running a computer was useful in the 80's and 90's but a lot has changed since then. it might matter if you were running on 16MB of RAM

why does it need to close? whats wrong with suspending it and letting the OS close it if it needs to be? the upshot is if you frequently only use 4 or 5 apps they stay cached in their state, launch faster and resume to where you were.

again, those products are the exception, not the rule. FWIW Alienware is owned by dell.

not at all! Apple just chose the road less traveled and made aesthetics an important element in their products. Dell does this on occasion, as does Samsung but most companies design to a dollar. Its not that somebody is copying apple when they "do design" but apple does stand out (currently) as the exception to the

i cant speak to the hardware, but i can give you some insight on the software...

the key you're missing here is that this camera is punching well above its weight class. If i offered you an economy sedan that had the performance near that of a Lamborghini, would you be bemoaning the fact that it wasn't *quite* as fast?

Rolex doesnt make computers. most computer makers have design studios that appear to be run by accountants.

hahahaha i cant read.

funny, it looks like an Aston DB9, i dont know how thats boring...

not neccesarily. people recognize the badge, and thats enough. why not jsut style cars to look good? As is demonstrated by all the otehr makes out there, theres more than one way to skin a cat, so why concrete yourself to one corporate face? Ford is one of the most well known brands in the history of anything. They

dad?

i think its the high door sills that give that impression. to me the recent 'Bulbous' lookd of the BMW nose makes it look kinda fat.

i suspect thats being reserved for the ATS-V which would compete with the M3, S4 and AMG C class
