BTK is free if preordered through Origin otherwise its $14.99 but its not a map-pack its a full expansion with new weapons and vehicles. Possibly a new single player campaign too.

is it really that big of a deal? why get all fanboy-raged over it? we're talking about 7 days. Its not like its saying something bad about DICE or EA. so they made a deal with Sony and we PC players will have to wait a week for DLC, who cares?

not all if it is necessarily ready. some balance issues may not be working properly... kinda like your caps lock key.

BF3 will address as many as 16 threads. no that is not a typo. BF games have always been very CPU intensive.

i looked into taht, it didnt look like it had enough buttons for me. as it is, if theres one thing i could fault the G13 for is lack of buttons, and it has a lot.

For FPS games a console controller is a poor compromise, mouse precision is pretty hard to beat. That said, there are mice that are specifically designed for gaming with extremely high resolution, ultra-fast reporting, even custom weighting.

one note, that thumbstick is only 4 way. its not analog. Sorry. I think it works more than 4 way for mouse use, but you cant exactly assign the mouse to aim and move.

funny, i havent observed any Origin clusterfucking at all. Not in the BF3 Alpha, nor on DS2. Admittedly they are the only two games i own for the service, but its not any worse than steam tbh.
