Yes, I grew up in Maryland and we were horrified when they renamed it to Reagan given that his policies brought on the crack wars that decimated DC. You’ll find very few African-Americans or those who disagreed with Reagan who call it Reagan - cause principles.

I just took an Uber to the airport on Sunday and the driver 1) had a pro-guns sticker on his car 2) called the airport Reagan and not National. He was the worst.

I had a really uncomfortable cab ride with a cabbie from Ethiopia last month here in DC. He was talking about how he was voting for Trump. Guy said, and I quote, “they [referring to Muslim immigrants] will never be Americans.”
