Let me pitch y’all an idea: In the header image of the Rivian, would it cool/useful/very safe to have adjustable break lights much like voice dials of how K.I.T.T talks (but horizontal, not vertical).

The only good thing about those commercials is the “Mahk” parodies.

Well fuck. There’s goes my afternoon.

Did you have the earlier N/A straight-6 with the 6 speed auto, or the later turbo and supercharged 4 banger with the 8-speed auto?    I’ve read the 6-speed auto was really bad, but the 8-speed fixed most of those transmission problems.

Will the wagon come with anything beyond the base engine?  I’ll assume no, base only, because that’s how it’s been for the last 20+ years.

For sure. Not sure where you’re located, but here in the states, I estimate that the RS4 Avant would start very close to the RS5, which is ~$74k, so it’s a good $12k more than a new Polestar at ~$62k. I based it on the fact that Europe prices for RS5 and the RS4 Avant are very similar, not exchange rates.

Exactly. It’s *almost* the perfect car. The only downside is the extremely dated interior. I wish Volvo would Polestar the new V60.

Why not both? An EV Golf R?

I wish all car chimes just switched to Price is Right horn fail.

Thread of the year right here guys.

Lots of car companies are guilty of this...this being having mostly boring cars across the entire lineup.

For $250 million you can get a house that comes with a collection, worth $30 million, that contains a one-of-a-kind Pagani Huayra, the legendary “Von Krieger” 1936 Mercedes 540 K Special Roadster (valued at more than $15 million); and 10 of the rarest, fastest motorcycles ever created.

My brother-in-law has one (not the 2019...don’t know the year).

Also, don’t forget what $250k gets you here....an interior from the early 2000 Bentley when they were made in teh same factory as the Phaeton. Below, which one is which?

Question for those aeronautical engineers out there:  assuming your goal is maximum payload, why not base it on the largest plane you make, the A380?   Is this missed opportunity, or is making one of the largest commercial planes even larger pushing the limits?

7-speed manual? Is that a 1st? I don’t think I’ve ever seen a 7 speed manual.

“This is so much better then Ambien...”

I saw it in the theater, then recently re-watched it again on blu-ray. It’s actually better the 2nd time around, especially after reading a few choice explainers to better pay attention.  The movie haunts my dreams.

It’s so weird. Kinda looks like what a Chiron would look like inside the Shimmer*.

What not a used Golf R? You can find 2013s all day for under $30k easy.
