Why not? They basically got the hard stuff out of the way. Assets, battle system, etc. I bet they can do it pretty quickly. How far apart were the FFXII games spread out for release? 2009, 2011, 2014. I don’t think it will be too long of a wait.

I was thinking along the lines of XV myself. You would have natural borders like mountains and rivers. I am guess you would unlock different modes of transportation. Walk at first, then chocos, then car, airships.
