I do find it interesting though that the black men are usually (perceived monoracially) black and the women are usually (perceived) mixed race.* I admit I'm going off of the shows I watch with Merlin (Gwen and her brother Elyan) and Misfits (Alicia and Curtis) being the ones that stick out the sharpest. I couldn't get

Bailey as a romantic figure is very recent*. Believe me when I say people didn't find it credible that Bailey would be with the hot biracial nurse (Daniel Sunjata), but could semi-understand her with Jason George's character Ben, who is the resident hot black doctor. Many people didn't/don't see Bailey as a being with

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

Whoa. Whoa. Whoa.

Long explanation short: It's a blended reference which leans toward referencing Marcus Flutie much more than the books and things my friends and I used to say/like when we were younger.

And . . . I like this. For both the sentiment and the fact that I'm a hair-flipper.

I need to see this gif. Please.

You can never go wrong with a Lion King parody and good editing.

Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly aren't cool enough to be called Dinka.

Got me when I heard the first "bay".

It's always funny/weird to me how much students want to friend their teachers, especially the young ones, on Facebook. Do you really want me to see what you post to your profile? I'm 25 and I find myself editing my occasional posts because I'm friends with my older brother.

I like (the idea of) Edmodo because it integrates tech in the classroom and posting homework or thought provoking questions for students to

I'm on a Disney spree at the moment so this image is even more hilarious/fitting.

When the doctor said it was all related I thought so as well.

My first reaction: No, Jasmine, don't do this to me!

People actually like Angelea? This news surprises me.

Right. I had to go back to listen to "BICO" because I thought maybe I missed something.

The "Santasexuals" one should not be here. There is no such thing as a bad Jackson 5 song and I like "Santa Baby". You won't get me to do this, Jez.

I hit 5'1" by the time I was 10 and stayed there. I'm almost 25 and I teach at a middle school where quite a few of my kids are taller than me. I've been told I blend in well with the kids. The only way you can spot me when I'm sitting down with them is the fact that I'm Black and they're Mexican.
