Jezebel logic is like Putin logic: not particularly logical.

Last time I checked "kill yourself" wasn't a death threat. It's extremely distasteful, crude, and awful, and shouldn't be said to anyone ever, but it's not a death threat.

I mean, the response is not what I would call, "chill," but they aren't death threats. However, I wouldn't be surprised if she got some. Why they aren't included here though is strange.

I don't understand how suspending this guy from school makes anyone more safe. The alleged crimes happened off campus and after hours, so school really had nothing to do with them. Furthermore, it's apparently very public knowledge that this guy is accused of rape. Don't you think people will be steering clear of him…

If they suspend him and he is found not guilty, he would rightfully sue the ever loving shit out of them. You seem to be taking another person's life and youth very lightly. And who the hell remains safe by suspending him? Is he a threat to start raping people on the football field or in class?
