So, like Hitler?

Indeed. What else could it be? Grifters gonna grift.

This thread is so weird. Let’s pretend its performance art.

I'm torn. My first reaction was "awww . . . . that's so sweet and such a lovely gesture! What a wonderful country . . . " and then I remember it's Russia, where it's against the law to "promote homosexuality" and people like to kick the shit out of gays and lesbians. So, awwwww/blech.

Right? How often lately does Russia do something that A) makes the news and B) isn’t batshit insane? Wookitizfaaaaace.

Check #BrusselsLockdown on Twitter. Police have asked for a complete media silence about current policy movements in the city center, and people have started to flood Twitter with cat pictures instead. It’s surreal and brilliant. Bon courage Belgians!

Cute, but clearly a spy.

cute puppy who will defeat Zmey Gorynych one day.

Damn Russia, that’s actually very sweet of you...

I’m a drag performer and also nonbinary, but when I’m in drag I only want to be referred to as “her.” You can use “he” to refer to queens, but it’s usually an extremely shady way to call a queen unpolished or lacking talent.

Yes, removing baby from the water immediately would greatly decrease the risk of drowning. The problem is that waterbirth advocates keep perpetuating myths such as that the birthed baby is still getting oxygen from the placenta or that the baby won’t breathe in. So now you sometimes see youtube videos of home

Yes! I loved that.

God I love that movie, and all the actors in it. Lily Tomlin is so interesting and a true pioneer for lesbians living openly. And Dolly Parton! Talk about someone living life her way and doing tons of good along the way.

I recently watched some episodes from the golden years of the ‘70’s and was surprised to find that a big percentage of the skits were kind of terrible. I agree that it’s selective memory . We all remember the few absolutely classic and hilarious skits, but I think it’s always been uneven.

I thought it was a nice way to be inclusive (lack of diversity in the regular cast aside) and to address the rampant Islamophobia, xenophobia, and hatemongering.

Nice, I’ll be looking for the hijab, I think you’re right about representation to combat xenophobia.

Love it!

I think it’s important that we continue to mispronounce is name.

Oh yes, its tee-gah for as long as this dude is around, I don’t care what he wants people to call him.
