I don’t know but 100,000 isn’t Mercedes money, at least not for us.
I don’t know but 100,000 isn’t Mercedes money, at least not for us.
And why does the company logo always make it seem like they’re a “That Girl” death cult?
Little-known thing: both architects and graphic designers can make a whole lotta money hypothetically if they’re really lucky, connected, and/or super-talented (or some winning combo of those), but on average they make less and — more to the point — graphic designers often out-earn architects, at least at base salary…
That’s probably by design. They want people to feel committed even before they’re hired. It also creates this aura of exclusivity — it’s the employment equivalent of those bars and clubs that have long lines out the door and when you finally get in it’s the same dingy, crowded nightclub environment as anywhere else in…
Jettas are not cheap! Or not my version of cheap, anyway. I had one years ago but it was used. People don’t seem to understand how not far 100,000 goes.
If it’s Vancouver, she’d only be able to afford to drive a Jetta, even making $110k. Cost of living is insane there.
My first thought was, “Why would anyone with no kids, making 6 figures drive a Jetta?” And then I realized it’s probably because that’s all Ocean can afford after shopping at Lululemon.
Do these people actually know any architects? Because all the ones I know wouldn’t be caught dead in lululemon.
After working shitty retail and service jobs for so long, when I first had a job that gave me sick and vacation AND personal days, it took me, no kidding TWO YEARS to get over the feeling I was going to be fired when I had to use one of those days.
Sigh.. Yeah, the left has a lot of serious idiots, and, their biggest problem is that they often refuse to test whether or not the idea works, and abandon it when it doesn’t (or, for that matter, they have much the same problem the right does, in presuming that the US is always right, so why look for answers anyone…
The Smithsonian gift shop complex had pretty good employee benefits when I worked there, including paid sick leave, health insurance, and even a 401(k) for people who had been there for 2 years, but that’s because it’s technically federal employment. And of course, over the 2.5 years I worked there, they started…
I was amused when Eckhardt Tolle was on Oprah and he told her he lived on the edge of the rainforest as he was being interviewed down at Spanish Banks. He lives in an area, above the beach, where houses routinely sell for $20,000,000. The only “rainforest” near that snake oil peddler is the forest surrounding U.B.C.
OF COURSE SHE MAKES LESS THAN HE DOES.
If I drive a GTI, does that make me better than Ocean?
Vancouver as a whole is a snark-free zone.
So we can assume she’s hot (theoretically)
I’m so glad you’re chiming in here. I still remember you explaining Duke and Ocean to me in some other Lululemon post. I also wondered if you were the Anonymous who wrote this post.
Oh, it is TOTALLY Vancouver.
And I bet her favourite author is James Redfield?
But but...she makes six figures??
