Yeah, he lost due to Seth being cheap, not due to Poongko reading him like an open book.

Luck? Going through Tokido, Daigo and Poongko back to back isn't luck. At that level of play luck barely enters the equation. And what do you mean, "Fuudo of all people"? Fuudo is an amazingly skilled player.
"Cheap ass" boss character also can't take a hit for shit. Seth is a glass cannon.
Not at all. Poongko has always went for flashy, crazy shit that you wouldn't expect. Only problem is it ends up costing him a lot of the time.
It's sad that Latif managed to go through Daigo and Poongko to get to the grand finals, but was all out of gimmicks against Fuudo. He didn't play well at all in the last match.
You know, it sucks that XII didn't have individual team themes, but the stage music was still pretty decent. I thought the "Theme of XII" was great, and I'm pretty partial to the French stage music as well.
Too bad one of my favourite one-off themes for one of my favourite one-off characters won't be on it...
2001, 2002 and 2003 are all pretty bad, and XI is meh, but XIII seems like a return to form.
Basically it better have the entire KoF96 soundtrack? We all know it's the best one :P
Ash Crimson = KoF Troll, man, he's awesome!
Nope, I picked up XII on release day. But a lot of us have played the arcade rip of XIII and we know that it's great.

I'll never stop laughing at the fact that KoF and more specifically Iori was part of the inspiration for Remy in SFIII: 3rd Strike, and then SNK used Remy as inspiration for Ash...
Let's hope he damn well stays there!
I dunno about that last one...
Oh man, horrible memories of CvS2. That game is pure poetry, but looking at all the re-used Alpha sprites next to the snazzy redone SNK/new Capcom ones...ugh. They even re-used Morrigan's original Darkstalkers sprite! What the hell?!
That's just the arcade rip, though. This console port will have a lot more content and, as far as I'm aware, has been rebalanced as well.
I've often wondered why KoF is so big in Latin America. Anyone know?
I love how KoF was basically invented for Fatal Fury and Art of Fighting to cross over, but neither Terry nor Ryo have been given center stage.
