Here's an idea Capcom, why don't you work with a western studio to make a Monster Hunter that could cater to the west. Get Bioware (or maybe contract with Obsidian Software or Gearbox Software) to make a Monster Hunter that western gamers would enjoy.

I wonder if Monster Hunter could sell in the west if it was developed by a western studio, like let say Bioware could make a Monster Hunter game. Would that help? Monster Hunter had problem when I played it like lack of good story, gameplay is stiff IMO.

It's not only that, I played Monster Hunter and the gameplay is a bit stiff and there's no story into this (but then again people who played COD don't pay attention to story). Respawning after death is standard in FPS MP. But using attack dog as scorestreak rewards just seem awkward and a bit outdated. If it was a suicidal robot armed with a bomb, I would be more convinced.

World at War take place in WW2, so Attack Dog make sense, also last time I check, I don't see Attack dog used as killstreak rewards for Modern Warfare 2 neither Black Ops.
