That’s my train of thought. A trunk has sides to make an enclosed space, like a box, and one of them opens, like a lid.

Interestingly, I just researched the term ‘boot’ (which is what we call a ‘trunk’ in countries that speak the Queens English) and that term is derived from:
where the coachman sat on a chest, which was used to store, among other things, his boots. This storage space came to be termed as the “boot locker”, which soon

I see we have some real trunkists here.

They switched to glass in the e46 convertibles.  Here’s the real question - is it a power or manual top?  I’ve had both in the e36, and the power tops have issues - namely the gears in the motors strip out, and they’re expensive as hell to replace.  The e46 has a hydraulic top with it’s own issues (line leaks and wire

If you think using plastic parts for a window is bad, don’t dare pop the hood on a BMW. . .

That Tesla doesn’t look like it hit something at 60mph. It may have been initially traveling at that speed, but it most certainly was moving much more slowly at the point of impact. I’d still expect the airbags to deploy based on the damage I see but who knows? If the occupants emerged fairly unscathed the airbags

...and the Tesla driver failed to get out of the merging lane.

If you track a car worth $130k+ and don’t have track insurance you really just deserve the consequences at that point.

Neutral: As I think we’ve discussed at length in the past on this site, most people aren’t asking for actual advice - just a confirmation that what they want is a good choice. That generally applies to everyday life, too.

This sums it up nicely. I’d also substitute the Lincoln for a Toyota Avalon or an LS Lexus or even an Acura RL!

Rolling coal when a person is in the vicinity and when the individual rolling coal intentionally or knowingly causes that excess exhaust to contact that bystander is AT A MINIMUM an assault. They are causing their vehicle to “spit” on a living, breathing, human being that is worthy of dignity and not having his or her

There are only two types of Bentley to buy: A brand new one, or a very, very, old one.

I actually came to say this. I had a 2012 Fusion for 6 years before someone wrecked me and it was totaled. It was a good car, not exciting, but never had any issues and got the job done (and I proved it was safe by using myself as a crash test dummy)I replaced it with a 2018 model and it was far superior - better

I used to get Fusion Hybrid Titanium rental cars for work trips on a regular basis and it was an excellent car. It looked good, handled well, had plenty of power, and was extremely comfortable.

The Stout Scarab. Not only the world’s first minivan (almost half a century before the Caravan), but it also had a revolutionary cab-forward design without running boards and big fenders. The whole thing was an unheard of concept for 1936.

It affects the same people who are too weak to wear masks. For some reason.

A disability that allows you to maneuver the shopping cart through the store, checkout line, and to your vehicle, but not to the cart corral or back to the store? OK.

I own a PHEV and an EV. The PHEV has a range of 26 miles all-electric. As long as I manage my driving (no quick starts where it will engage the ICE), I am almost always on electric with that car (basically short trips around town). The EV is for longer range but still local trips. But, I still have the PHEV in gas
