There are only just so many ways you can bend sheet metal. Sure, from some angles it might vaguely resemble certain lines of VW’s car, from other angles it looks vaguely like a Chrysler Airflow. It looks about as much like a VW Beetle (or New Beetle) as all of the compact crossovers look like each other.

Thank you. After reading through some irrationally positive comments your realistic take on it is refreshing. This thing is a heap and a sketchy one at that. Maybe it’s worth a little as a parts car – it does have the headrests the nice one in the linked listing lacks – but the asking is way, way too much.

I agree using a tax refund to pay down a car loan is the smart thing to do (whether you bought an EV or not) but I would wager the majority of buyers don’t do this, preferring instead to pay off the credit cards they maxed out at Christmas instead.

Ford started using double sided keys in the mid-1960s but the other manufacturers wouldn’t adopt the design for years. Likewise, the digital keypad that Ford introduced years ago but nobody else has adopted.

The Federal tax credit is just that, a tax credit. You have to buy the car first, line up your financing, etc., and start making payments, then you get to exercise the credit the following year when you file your taxes.
