Oh, I’ve been there. So we got a male marriage counselor. Who ripped into the hubs about six sessions in. Soooo much smug I was feeling!

It’s SO HARD to discuss consent and alcohol because there’s barely a wisp, let alone a line between that discussion and blaming the victim/letting the aggressor off the hook, like the Stanford case.

On top of that, there was the guy in South Korea who stabbed a woman because he said women ignored him. He waited 40 minutes for a woman to show up in the restroom and then stabbed her to death. Incidentally, he didn’t bother wearing a dress to hide in there. It’s almost like you wouldn’t need to.

Imagine the literal PTSD for those of us diagnosed and treated with breast cancer. I was diagnosed at 32. I loathe October. I started chemo in October, still with healing incisions from a mastectomy. I loathe having to face a zillion people that want to tell me about awareness.
