And the side angle shows just how hard he struck it. Incredible goal.

I totally am, bro. Best Wednesday I’ve had in years, and it’s all because of this conversation.
But you didn’t remove the word regularly, so I’m not sure of your point.
Has nothing to do with googling or semantics. I’ve been riding the Metro for 25 years - saying that it “regularly kills people” is not only dumb, it’s irresponsible. Thanks, though.
Regularly killing people? Come on... the Metro has issues, but that is a bit much. There’ve been two instances of people dying as a result of the system’s incompetence over the last 10 years - the accident in 2009 and the L’Enfant smoke debacle a few years ago.
The acoustic version of Hotel California is fantastic (maybe not better than the original, but at least as good).
In the grand scheme of things, yes, $70 is more than reasonable to take in some of the most beautiful vistas our country has to offer. Imagine the outrage, however, if Netflix went from charging $10 to $28 in one fell swoop. Seems pretty egregious to me.
You know who was (is) also playing hurt? Patric fucking Hornqvist. And oh, by the way, he scored last night to put the final nail in the coffin of our Caps. Excuses are like assholes...
Dammit. I was so busy paying attention to his position I didn’t even realize it was a throw-in. Carry on.
No mention of the fact that he was almost a full stride offsides? I know it had nothing to do with the play we’re gawking at, but that’s horrendous officiating.

Fighfa? Seriously? How does a “successful” sports personality not know hot to pronounce FIFA?
