THIS RIGHT HERE. Amy Schumer doesn’t owe me or anyone else a damn thing. If she wants to block everyone on Twitter except people who tell her how pretty she is, then that’s her prerogative. She’s not obligated to receive or respond anything she doesn’t damn well want to.

Well you know why, right?

Making this about Schumer definitely falls into the “eating our own” problem a lot of internet feminism can have. So much energy goes into policing the mostly good who are not perfect, versus focusing on garbage like Metzger.

I don’t think there is anything wrong with this. She is obviously disappointed and probably very upset by the whole thing. She fired the guy, she doesn’t owe anyone any further explanation or comment on the subject. And she has every right to block whomever the fuck she wants for whatever reason she wants.

I downloaded Wil Wheaton’s entire blocked list and mass added to mine. I have no issue with that. My twitter feed is mine. I get to control it.

Kurt Metzger seems like the kind of guy who thinks that he isn’t famous because he’s too “edgy” and “un-PC” but really it’s because he’s “not funny” and “bad at his job”.

Yeah, anybody can block anybody on Twitter. If the first I hear of you as a person is you up in my @s yelling at me about something (at the same time that THOUSANDS OF OTHER PEOPLE ARE ALSO YELLING AT ME IN MY @S) I would feel no compunction blocking you, and fuck anyone who tells me I am obligated to patiently let

I have no problem with Schumer blocking people. It’s not like we have a moral right to read her tweets or yell at her online, something we all pretty much agreed with when it was a dude doing it do her in person last year. Dumping him off the staff of her show is all I need; a public condemnation is icing on the cake.

Sorry but #imwithher. It’s not even “explain yourself!” It’s “explain this third person you have a Contractual relationship with that might take more than 2 minutes to deal with” on a day where seme would seemingly have a million other things to deal with due to her book. I dont expect everyone to have immediate

I mean, I get people tweeting her about it, but I also get her blocking people. If I were a celeb I would block so many goddamn people for a lot less.

Can we not blame Amy Schumer for the assholery of men she may have employed/known? Let’s stay focused on the true jerks who deserve our anger.

Let’s all not be assholes and fall into blaming Burke, who was nine at the time and probably did not have the know-how to make that garrote. From what I heard from friends’ younger siblings who went to school with him, he was normal if a little messed up from all the media finger pointing. Just seems cruel to go after

It isn’t about what you want, it’s about what is best for society.

and yet, my wife roams freely.

Neither party has made false accusations for financial gains. There was never an intent of physical or emotional harm.

Is it wrong to find him attractive this way?

Winona Ryder-era Damon would never have done that.

Yeah, but before Omarosa stepped in, that support was only at 1.38%

I heard her on Weekend All Things Considered a few months ago. She was combative, snide, condescending. The interviewers were able to deflect it, but it almost seemed like she was *trying* to pick a fight. I would hate to have to deal with this woman in any capacity.

So what’s the diagnosis for Trump’s inability to form a coherent sentence? Lolololol...
