I don’t know anything about the new corporate culture. But Gawker media had a long and well documented history of misogyny and slightly less well documented history of racism.

Why would you not opt to “flee” to the store that had store clerks and “multiple people” present rather than an empty bathroom?

I did the Nick sub to watch The Last Airbender and Korra! (Avatar:TLA wasn’t on Netflix then.) It sucks but I got through them so quickly that I only had to pay for a month.

There is so much bigotry, hatred and idiocy in her essay that it’s hard to process it all.

Even in her shitty detective novels the focus is on the dude and the woman just sort of props him up.

I subscribe to all the things. It’s ridiculous. I’m such a chump. I have Netflix/Amazon Prime/Hulu/Disney +/DC Universe and even briefly had Apple TV+. Plus some minor subscriptions on Amazon because, God forbid, I don’t have access to old BBC miniseries.

To be entirely frank, my only concern is how this HBO Max/DC Universe haggling will impact a potential Harley Quinn Animated Series season 3.

I don’t think it is seriously suggesting what she did is OK. It depicts her as unhinged and completely obsessed by the end. But that it’s about her journey of getting there.

The podcast Swindled did an episode of the woman who led the WTC Survivors Support Network. It was interesting. There was a documentary on her that was following her to tell her story and then everyone found out about half-way through filming. But I haven’t gotten around to watching it yet.
