Is it possible to just be too dumb to be traumatized?
Like you point out there are a lot of amazing actors who still have it but can’t remember their lines anymore (natural). It shouldn’t be a total reason to refuse them the part.
Fair point. I wanted to give some of the benefit of the doubt on something but she’s just awful.
Faye Dunaway has been known to be a nightmare to work with for decades now. It was funny that the managed to find a person worse than Joan Crawford to play Joan Crawford.
I don’t know. I support equality but women just don’t have the strength and stamina to push buttons the way men do. It’s biology.
I have no issues with the remakes. Are they money grabs? Sure but they are also ways to bring these stories to new audiences. But this is just to deep in uncanny valley for me. I can’t.
She was swinging the bat wildly and he got hit when he was trying to take it away. It wasn’t intentional.
So did Celeste really believe Mary Louise physically abused Perry to the point of kicking him? If so isn’t allowing her to spend so much time with her boys, including overnight stays, worse than all the other stuff she was accused of?
I get that. But I think she knew it was a lie.
The ending would have been a great ending to season 1 (with that being the final season.)
He isn’t in prison. He’s in jail.
I think the thing that gets focused on is their prison system, which I’m sure is lovely. Not the jails where likely many more people are housed if they don’t bail people out.
This is his “some of my best friends are black” move.
Because of how dumb the windows are in my bedroom (can’t fit a window unit) I have to use a portable one. It’s fine. But I would never never choose one if I had the window option. (Also because of the dumb windows the way we have set-up the house looks even more unbecoming.)

The show does acknowledge this a couple of times. Bonnie says repeatedly that she should have just confessed and it would have been fine. Nicole Kidman’s character later says the same thing. But now it’s the lie that makes them all seem guilty of something much worse.
Also, just generally, grandparents basically never win custody suits unless there is serious neglect. This whole thing should be a non-starter.
Arthur Sackler was dead for years before OxyContin was developed and sold.
The only explanation for doing this now, so long after the initial complaints and concerns, is getting 13 Reasons Why back in the news cycle.
Normally I’d agree but I think the ending is perfect. One of the few romantic speeches I actually find romantic. And having them be the final couple in those vignettes made perfect sense.
