I think these are supposed to be controversial choices.

This is such an important point. I completely agree.

Ugh I had to carpool with my young cousin on a six hour roadtrip to a wedding a few months ago and she vaped the whole time. It was so obnoxious but also I couldn’t be so uncool as to ask her to like stop for two seconds. (And she did it during the ceremony!!)

I’m guessing the people who scoff haven’t actually watched the movie.

It did in the broad strokes.

Shakespeare’s best play!

Elizabeth Taylor also had that incredible charisma. Even when she was old and overweight she commanded a room.

I think they should have just left Han Solo alone but Chris Pine would actually be a pretty great Indy.

I agree! I think finding a nice sitcom gig (British sitcom so fewer episodes and commitment) would be less lucrative but the best next step for him.

I think Kit Harington’s alcohol issues long pre-date the end of the show (fans used to call him Lit Harington) but I really do wish him the best. I’m sure the “what next” is insanely difficult for someone in his position.

I don’t think Bran has any unnatural aging without being merged to a tree.

Yes, that’s dumb. I always thought they’d move the capital to Harrenhal (which has a huge godswood) but that would be way too nitty gritty a detail to get into in show.

Bran can be king of the seven kingdoms. But whoever is elected next can’t be trusted to have the North’s interests in mind. It’s a smart long-term move to disengage now.

And how is speaking up with a reason for her own brother NOT to be king remotely helpful to her situation in that moment?

Bran was right there. He’d know if she was lying.

Exactly! People made it to paradise and never looked back.

How will the line be extinguished? Women can pass on the name in Westeros. Remember Lyanna Mormont? All her sisters? Her mother Maege who was born a Mormont? Sansa can marry a second son or legitimize a bastard she has if she wants Starks.

Not only have other people tried it, there have been other Starks to sail west. It’s like a whole thing. Brandon the Shipwright was a Stark king who sailed West and disappeared. Arya may run into his descendents on some unknown landmass.

I don’t think he lives a thousand years if he’s not fused with a tree.

Sansa would bend to a make Stark. But, as she literally said, Bran can’t have kids and the next king would be someone else. And she won’t have her brother on the throne and an army at the gates to press the claim then. It’s now or never.
