That’s definitely true.

As much as I did enjoy it, I’ve been mad at The Crown since Claire Foy stole Keri Russell’s emmy.

Gillian Anderson is good at hamming it up (in a delightful way) to play it evil when called for.

Don’t be ridiculous. He’s never had sex with his wife.

Yeah, I used to work with a woman whose last name was Folger, related to the Folger’s coffee family (without any of the money from them). She wouldn’t be totally prohibited from starting a business with Folger in the name. But her options would definitely have severe limitations.

Wow, Kathy Griffin has completely lost it.

Maybe the will was also stolen?

My mother’s cousin did the same exact thing when her mother had a stroke. Racked up about $10k. My great-aunt ended up not dying right after that though and it was all discovered. Great-aunt refused to let her other kids go to the police over it. And she STILL left the cousin her entire paid off house in a trust.

Not his fault this has entered into the public discourse, so I don’t blame him, but I’m so sick of hearing about this dude’s dick.

Right, it sucks she’s profiting off this and I wish they had to give that money to charity or something. But I’m thrilled NBC had to pay. Fuck them. They knew what she was.

Some of the words on the right ARE NOT synonyms though.

You should actually read the last journal article. It has a lot to say about how severely misinterpreted the laws about women’s property are and completely undermines your point.

So by very wealthy and influential you meant “not totally poor”? And all the other women you assumed couldn’t possibly be published at the time without help from the men?

There were dozens of women novelists in the 18th century and the vast majority didn’t come from wealthy, connected families. The new form of writing was very much women’s work until men took over and made it serious business. You shouldn’t just assume everything was men’s work until the 20th century.

I hate their waffle fries. They are completely bland.

It doesn’t make him more powerful. It distracts from the genuine criticisms against him.

It’s not about sympathy. It’s about normalization. It’s a distraction.

Seriously, leave her the fuck alone. She isn’t responsible for his actions. She doesn’t owe anyone a damn thing due to the accident of who she was born to.

That’s definitely what’s happening. Why are we all feeding this?

Please, it’s exactly the opposite. This just makes him more human. He’s not someone ruining local economies. He’s just some dude with a bad love life like your neighbor Stan.
