Those are both terms in the contract not severence negotiation. Megyn is probably arguing NBC breached so she is not to be held to them. By paying out the contract NBC is saying they have satisfied their obligations.

I don’t think there is anything going on but she has a contract and they have to fulfill it. That was always going to be the case. They could claim she violated a morality clause but they knew she was racist when they hired her.

He comes off as a total douchebag. Which, alone, isn’t enough to boot him. But if you have a talented cast full of people everyone cares more about then it’s enough of a reason not to bother with him. 

Brandon Routh was perfect. He just IS Superman. He gets that earnest almost sweetness that Cavill just can’t manage.

I think something that goes to the heart of what a fraud Jim Jones was is that he stole his entire initial shtick (interracial congregation, housing parishioners, preaching love) from Father Divine, whose church he actually did try to take over but was stopped by Divine’s widow. He loved having that amount of power…
