The Dutchman's, aka the Flying Dutchman!
The Dutchman's, aka the Flying Dutchman!
The way I read it was that even if he didn't fully trust the situation in the moment, seeing Nadine's resolve, and hearing her lay bare exactly how their relationship had played out, gave him the resolve he needed. I have a feeling that he decided in that moment that even if Nadine did come back to him tomorrow…
Like the Flying Dutchman! (cf. Ray's earlier reference to Jeffries being at the Dutchman's)
yo, shut up with that.
It's too perfect! One wonders how he would've managed to mention Sonny Jim without parroting back someone else's words, but it's totally possible that even someone saying "son" could've triggered that.
Last week we saw the exact same Jacoby broadcast (confirmed by Nadine's reaction shots, as well as the script in front of him, which is the same as episode 5's even though we saw a different edit of the rant in episode 12). So we have no idea when that's taking place.
That office conga line with the Mitchum brothers felt straight out of an alternate-universe Mad Men!
I am this person, and I continue to be surprised by the hate from the hardcore TP fans! I've only seen a couple of Lynch's movies (Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway), and I appreciate them, but they don't speak to me like Twin Peaks does (mostly, I miss the over the top humor of TP).
I've definitely seen this narrative of Twin Peaks fans versus Lynch fans playing out, the argument generally being that those who love Twin Peaks specifically more than Lynch generally are the ones deeply unsatisfied by The Return. While I'm sure that's true in many cases, I just wanna say that I'm much more into Twin…
Likely Mike Malone, who is an on-set dresser, and just goes by "Malone" on his Twitter account
People seem pretty convinced the guy Andy talked to was Billy, and it tracks in the sense that we don't know where that guy is, and the open door to his trailer suggests something ominous, but that guy was just credited as "farmer" so it's possible that he's not actually Billy. And if he *is* Billy, there must be a…
There's a theory that Donna died in the motorcycle accident James was in, which Shelly mentioned in episode 2 before bizarrely claiming that James had always been cool. I think it's quite the logical leap, but it would explain why James is "just quiet now." (I figured she was referring to some sort of brain injury,…
The fact that Charlyne Yi is on the cast list makes me think we might get another Wally scene…I mean, it'd be pretty on the nose, but I can definitely see those two weirdos showing up together!
Given that Lynch and Mary Sweeney divorced something like a month or two after they got married, I'm guessing it was a bad breakup! But I don't think I've ever heard any rumours about him and Fenn being a thing.
That's the pitch gum that she chews (pitch as in resin from pine trees), which she apparently spits out in inappropriate locations (I think Norma also mentions this at one point in the original series, w/r/t the diner, and the Log Lady talks about it in a couple of her episode intros).
It's where Theresa Banks lived, and it's sort of an inverse Twin Peaks — same small-town vibes, but all the police officers are all raging assholes who do everything they can to fuck with the FBI agents (and the coffee is garbage!). There's a great scene in The Missing Pieces where the sheriff gets his due courtesy of…
It would be hilarious if we found out that Chad had somehow transferred to Twin Peaks from the Deer Meadow police force. He definitely has that smarmy, smug vibe. Maybe Chris Isaak will show up and beat him senseless!
