Look forward to seeing two hours of Abed tiring to determine if he is in a revival or reunion or determining that the story was not good enough for theater release but would fit nicely with a streamer.

This reads like someone trying to sound smart while asking for things to be dumber.
This reads like someone asked ChatGPT to write a review of the new season of The Bear in a parody of early 2000s Pitchfork, then ran it through Google Translate a few times and haphazardly pasted it back into their word processor while on a coke binge.
i was thinking cocaine, but, you know. I usually am
“Simple sandwich?" This review is more like a word salad.
Expected a review, got PTSD flashbacks to reading Ulysses in high school.
I’m not usually one of the people in the comments, braying about how far the AVClub has fallen, but...this review is almost unreadable. It’s so, so overwritten. Like, to the point that the only possible reasons are that:
Lol! This is the weirdest, most rambling, Ritalin-fueled mess I’ve ever read here.
This article is like a tasting menu…way too long, amazingly self indulgent, and hiding a few good things in a mass of filler.
Since this season started, I’ve seen so many reviews and critics lamenting how the show became too “serious” and no longer the sweet, funny and wholesome series it was S1...and now this episode comes along, as well as the Amsterdam one, and the same critics are out here complaining that the show went....sweet and…
This strikes me as an extremely ungenerous take on every aspect of this episode.
Well the pattern of horrible reviews littered with trash takes continues. The author has no business on this type of show, should probably peddle his misery in reviews of Succession or something. I come here for the comments, which are far more rational in general.
This episode gave me all the feels. Can’t believe it only got a C.
Do they pay you for your incessant drivel? You really should be banned from writing about a show you so clearly do not get...but that might well be most shows.
Missed that, thanks!
I think it was also fitting how Saul remembers the worst parts of Walt. It's stark contrast to Jesse remembering a largely happy meeting with Walt in the ending of el camino. Saul has good reason to remember to worst of Walter. Jesse had his issues with Walter, but he also had a lot of good left in his memories.
Barry is deeply, deeply broken, and I think you’re right that, at his core, he’s not evil. He’s so desperate for love and affection and validation that he will do whatever is asked of him to get it, up to and including killing people for money. Fuches is evil. But Barry’s a monster. He’s the dog turned feral and…
Sally didn’t need to channel her past experience to fly into a murderous rage—contemporaneous events (i.e., getting mercilessly strangled by a stranger) and a will to live were sufficient reasons for her violence. Labeling her actions homicide is just lazy in my opinion.
I’m late here, but if anyone is still looking, I think Barry offered his services to Sally because she sounds to him like one of the many “amateurs” that have been hiring him lately.
Every damn episode makes me wonder why Anthony Carrigan hasn’t won all of the Emmys. And does anyone else read the show’s title and only hear it in their head in Hank’s accent? Is there a word for that phenomenon? There should be.
