No doubt about it. That felt like a completely different show. Awful.

Agree. There are also some very good episodes in those seasons: The Gang Group Dates (I will rate all of you!), The Gang Misses the Boat, Mac and Dennis Move to the Suburbs and Being Frank.
Dennis and Dee go on Welfare is a great introduction episode to the show.
EL-P confirmed this is a reference to The Big Lebowski, which makes it even better.
I thought it was much more drama than comedy but I could be totally wrong in my interpretation. I definitely didn't think it appear in the top ten films of the year.
Was The Lobster really a comedy? After watching that film I have no idea how to categorize it. Though I did love the ending.
Wait…so Rhys and Russell weren't one of the 35 best TV performances this year? Have we reached the point where we take the best couple on TV for granted? Also…poor Martha.
I love legitimate theater.
Is it not eligible because it's animated? That's the only thing I can think of.
I'm so far behind that I've just given up at this point.
Same for me and Within the Wires. I'm glad Alice isn't Dead is getting second season.
Did anyone listen to "Alice isn't Dead" from Nightvale? Really enjoyed the sci-fi, Stephen Kingish feel to the podcast.
Have to ask the BoJack fans here: Fish out of Water or Escape from LA? I slightly favour Escape from LA but both are magnificent in different ways.
I actually think commentators here are starting to hate on the show because of all the love it gets. All shows eventually reach that point and I think BC is there. This season has been very solid and if people think Ilana is over the top now I'll point to season one finale where she almost killed herself to eat shell…
C'mon now, Ilana was an extreme version of her character from day one. Also, this is episode 23 of the show. That is the equivalent of one season on network TV. Don't you think you should be learning new things about these characters still? Abbi's extreme competitive nature was great to see and resembles many people…
I still think the scariest Dennis has ever been was him ripping his "tools" out of his Land Rover in part 2 of the high school episode. That pure rage was terrifying.
The version of the 75-85 live album is still the best version of the track IMO. No doubt one of the best live performers ever.
That also means they're still using Charlie's video camera. I have no idea how the camera and tape has survived this group!
Your points are fair and I'll concede about the hotel.
Some questions here about the timeline. Hank gets knocked out by the Native but wakes up and doesn't check the house? So we are just supposed to assume that he was concussed and not thinking straight?
